Yes thats right, Trains 2006 is here this weekend. It will be in burnaby on saturday & sunday for the public, and on monday theres a railfan trip to Squamish. I will bring back a full report on the show, with lots of pictures and stuff. Me and Andrew will both be there, and Master David is possibly coming too. If anyof you are interested in meeting me, I will be at the Vancouver TraiNgang layout, as that is my club.

LOL Why can't I live in BC? Have fun guys! Well Im sure New York has ALOT more trainshows than BC. We got Chilliwack in October, Trains 2006(burnaby) in november, Revelstoke railway days in August, which is 7ish hours from here, and sometimes a random rotating show that was in Vernon this year. so only 3-4 the whole years is probably nothing compared to New York. and plus your neighboring states have a bunch too taht are close by. So besides 3 months in a row in the fall, its pretty dull for model railroading here. But you can be sure we will have fun while it last though

Western Rails is held at the same place that Trains is. It's usually held on the first Sunday of Spring Break. There are usually only a few operating layouts with it mostly being meant for venders to sell their stuff.

The problem with the train shows here are that they are all down in New York City, and cost anywhere from $100 to $500 US to just get in...I don't really have that sorta cash...LOL

Wow! $100-500 just to get in? Lets see which is better:
Pay $500 to see some layouts, and get a Kato for $50 instead of $100
Or
Pay $50 for an MR subscription to see layouts, and pay $100 for a Kato.
Doesn't make sence.
For $350 you could get a round trip Amcrash ticket out here to our shows.

LMAO Josh...How right you are...You should paint up an Amtrak loco with Amcrash rather than Amtrak...
