Heres some more screenshots from the lmrr, this time taken on the BNSF line. 32 shots for this post.
Northbound through Blaine heading for the border
Passing the Peace Arch (notice the snow on the peace arch)
We enter White Rock
We slowly pass through the beach
We speed up as we leave White Rock behind and head through the Ocean Park Area
We round the bend into Cresent Beach
You can see that the swing bridge is still open in the distance...
...but it closed for us as we got closer to it. This is one of my favourite spots to hang around during the summer.
The locomotives lead the train around the shores of Mud Bay.
The rear of the train crosses the Nickelmackle bridge and you can see the whole train streched out along the shores of Mud Bay.
After the last car clears the bridge and the swing span opens up again for boat traffic.
The locos cross the Serpentine river bridge.
We pass under the hwy 99 overpass and join the BC Rail Port Sub at South Colebrook.
