BC Rail. I'll do the DMIR Do you have a correct model for the 70? Yes, I do. There is two versions of ARR SD70MAC's. One with flared radiators and one without.

is the B39-8E going to be payware or freeware and are you going to need shapes for it?

is the B39-8E going to be payware or freeware and are you going to need shapes for it? The B39-8E would be done on SLI's SF Dash 8-40B. So yes, payware.

I was not aware SLI had such Dash 8 40B's ( most likely for a U.S. prototype / roadname , this would be my guess ) .
I have downloaded , for my own personal use, 2 different 'freeware" shape files, one for the LMX decorated B39 8E , and one, for a Santa Fe blue and yellow Dash 8 40B .
I already 'ditched" the LMX B39 8E , after viewing in Shape Viewer, as being outdated . Waste of time .
The Dash 8 40B , if I recall, did not display the texture files ( eg "paint colors" ), in Shape viewer , so I did not "load it" yet in Train Sim , for reviewing it , in the proper context .
I' d be delighted to see David make some of those .
Further to viewing the video from version 2, and seeing the team of designers led by Rick Selby ( from Bellingham, WA ), no need to say I am seriously contemplating "ditching" my own decades in model railroading , and appropriately , "save my pennies" to acquire the required software, to design for version 2 .
In the meantime , I will certainly do my best to help David and everyone ( at BCLW ) , with any projects they would be willing to undertake .
Wow ! '-)

This is the model I will be using Jean. SLI's B39-8E which is a SF Model, and BCR's B39-8E's are ex-SF so it will work great. Clearly though I will need some freight animation made to make these prototypical. But thats easy enough.

Feedback : This SLI model is much-much better as a starting point, that's for sure .
I also applaud the fact that you guys are more "selective" as far as you will be working on / there is only so much one can "load" onto their Train Sim folders , before you cannot find anything .
For the BCR B39 8E's, those came straight off the (GE) LMX lease fleet, as they reached the end of their lease on the BN .
The BCR B 36-7 , are the ones that originated on the Santa Fe , and also will make an awesome project to consider doing , when the time is appropriate for those.
For the DM&IR "Tunnel Motor" unit some would like to see as a repaint, the photo shows what is an SD 45T2, with the main spotting feature is the entire dyamic brake section , closer behind the cab . Therefore, an SD 45T2 'shape" , would be needed , in order to be consistent with everything that is being made available currently.
I'd be personally interested by this ( SD 45T2) project , as I am looking at securing a suitable SD 45T2, I could further repaint for an HATX lease unit, that once was leased to BCR , used in coal train service on the Tumbler Ridge Line .
As received on the BCR, this unit looked "spooky" as hell, so decrepit and everything , coming straight off what I personally call the "Dart Vader era', on the Southern Pacific ( a repainter's treasure chest and delight , no need to say ! ... ).
Good stuff , guys !'-)
