Got some work left though.. Gotta fix the BCRail font. any suggests? I also gotta lighten the red, and darken the blue. The windows.. well.. someone with more knowledge has got to do that, unless you don't mind a windowless caboose.

Shawn : send me an email off-list to my address / I have a complete production portfolio of photos of the BCR / BC RAIL cabooses I can share , by sending photo-attachments directly to you by email. Since this looks like this will be freeware, I would' nt lose sleep over the fact the shape file used is not totally correct for the one-of-a-kind style of BC RAIL cabooses . Bottom line , is that, we certainly all need some BC RAIL cabooses anyway , and yes, you could simply "paste" some caboose window photos , straight onto the sides, and that would work great . Like perhaps a few others, I simply didn't want to install whatever had been made available so far for those / I would rather wait for you to complete those . That being said, I do have this friend of mine who designed pretty much all the Kaslo Shops resin kits , who does have a very High Resolution design all completed ( and sitting inside his laptop ), for a BC RAIL caboose , intended for resin casting / photo-etchings . He did try to find 100 people lined-up to produce his excellent design / I' d be curious to see if he would agree to having us his carry on further into V scale, his 100% completely finished design ( AutoCad ) work . I already showed to David H. some sample photo-etching design work Jeff is doing , and so, this one , would be certainly something to consider , for any "payware" type of release . But Hey, Shawn , this is an awesome surprise to us, to see this caboose project of yours ! Nice ! If you need any further help with this project , never hesitate to contact me off-list, or through the PM system in this Forum . Tremendously appreciating your work and input ! Well, I have already uploaded this caboose. One reason I used it, simply because I prefer to stick with freeware models Unless there is enough demand for the payware version.
Anyways, I will take up your offer, and possibly do a few more of these.

Feedback : Same here, of course ... Actually, there really is one caboose numbered 1996 , if I have this correct , in Tumber Ridge , BC , which looks strikingly similar to the one you just produced ( colors and everything ) . I have to go and dowload this one , as I really had no BC RAIL caboose I could make use of, up until this one . As for the windows, I can always "paste" some photo-skin caboose windows directly over the texture file you created for this . Once again , Shawn , really appreciating your work and input ! Overall , what I am trying to say , here, is that , should you ( or anyone else ), desires to do repaints, etc ... , for BC RAIL , I can either provide directly , or arrange access to, lots of resources / photos / documentation , etc... Never hesitate to ask , as we all stand to greatly benefit from anyone's work ( and especially if made available as freeware ! ) Jean Brisson Victoria, BC
