I've got some more shots of the new alignment for anyone who is interested. All shots were taken on Monday Aug 9th 2007. First is a shot of the new warning signal for Pratt Junction, although I think its supposed to be facing towards the train. I think its still being worked on or something. Looking northwest from the new farm crossing towards hwy 10. Looking southeast from the farm crossing towards the hwy 15 overpass. Looking northwest showing the new bridge across the Cloverdale Canal. Looking southeast. The new switch between the new mainline and the old mainline at Pratt.

Why do they still have a switch to the old mainline?

SRY left the switch to the old mainline so they could access the spur that you can see in the distance in the last picture. The Fraser Valley Heritage Railway also wants to build its Cloverdale station in the original location on the old mainline so this switch allows them to reverse down to the station when they get up and running in the next couple years.
